Elisabeth Singleton Moss (b. July 24, 1982) is an American theater, movies, and television actress. The winner of the Golden Globe Awards (2014, 2018) and Emmy Awards (2017). Best known for her roles as Zoey Bartlet, the youngest daughter of President Josiah “Jed” Bartlet, in the series “The West Wing” (1999-2006), secretary Peggy Olson in the series “Mad Men” (2007-2015) and detective Robin Griffin in the series “Top of the Lake” (2013, 2017).
Since 2017, Moss has played the leading role in the series “The Handmaid’s Tale,” based on the novel by Canadian writer Margaret Atwood. For her work on television, Moss was named “Queen of Modern Television.”
