And in recent years, I’ve realized that practicing self-care is key,” she says of the issue’s theme. Modeling for a few years now, Gillian fell into the profession by taking a chance. “I stumbled upon an Instagram profile of a girl I thought looked similar to me. I found her agency and submitted a photo,” she says. “They got back to me within a week. I was shocked. I never thought I’d be a model.” When it comes to posing nude, Gillian is proud to show the world who she is. “For me, posing nude feels like a form of artistic expression.
